Awkward Family Portraits and 100,000 Kroner

It’s already August, the Sunday of summer (at least in Northern Europe), but nothing is slowing down for us! Today I’m flying to Warsaw for the Taylor Swift concert on Saturday and next week off to Paris for the Olympics

Growing the Family

Annie and I like to think of What Are You Doing in Denmark as a family, and our family always has a seat at the table for new members. This week we had three seats and we welcomed the hosting team of Coping in Copenhagen to our show!

To mark the occasion and break them in to our kookie ways, we ambushed them with an awkward family portrait photo shoot. As soon as Abby, Marius, and Owen entered the studio we started, and the results were hilarious.

It set the tone for an even more hilarious show

Once our portraits were snapped, we moved to the podcast room and recorded a super funny episode. We played a ridiculous version of the gameshow $100,000 Pyramid.

Annie grilled all three of our new family members to pick a partner for the game. We learned a lot about Abby, Marius, and Owen - maybe too much - but it was super funny!

Then we dove into the game show and a lot of topics along the way like Hans Christian Andersen’s dirty little secrets, how Abby would haunt Annie is she were a ghost, and Owen’s favorite conspiracy theory.
